WaterShed Dance March 26th "A Night in the Wild West" click for info & registration Summer Mission: 1) Local Trip - (click for more info) like last year. Stay in Swannanoa, work all over the Greater Asheville Area. Open to current 6th - 12th graders. June 13-18th. (The NYC trip is already FULL...this is just to let you know what's going on.) 2) New York City - (click for info) Joining Grace Foothills (youth and adults) July 24 - 31 to minister to children through tutoring and VBS. This trip will be difficult and students will need to go through an application/interview process. Designed for servant leadership development. No Tourism Allowed. Very limited spaces. $900. (scroll to the last pic gallery)   Matthew This week we have our first official mandatory awesome summer mission meeting for those going on the NYC trip and the Local Trip (the NYC one is already full) Bring you application and $50 deposit to church this Sunday. We'll meet from 12:30-2:30. Lunch provided. This is for students and leaders...not really a parent info time but group building time. If you parents would like info, you can get most of it here online (to the left). Or email us and we'll be glad to answer whatever questions you have.   Every Sunday we meet upstairs from 9:15-10:30 for youth group stuff split high school and middle school. Every Wednesday we meet upstairs from 6:30-8:00, then split and do small group stuff talking about the Book of Matthew and  what in the world it has to do with you.   High School Retreat March 12-14 Going to Camp TVR (tvr.org) Click below for info/flyer Here is the TVR Release Here is the Grace Release Sunday Mornings from 9:15-10:30 Split up with 6-8th graders on one side and 9-12th on the other. Basically have some sort of group ice breaker game thingy, sing some songs, one of the leaders will give a chit-chat about some actual real-life issues of Hope as seen in the book of Matthew. As a new sweet twist, 6th graders are part of the youth ministry now and get their own special deal. 1/2 way through Sunday mornings, they move out (after some fun games n such) to have their own lesson geared specifically for them and their phase of life. Nice.) Wednesday Nights 6:30 - 8:00 We meet in the Youth Room (upstairs at church) at 6:30. We split up into several small groups (by grade and gender) to have a bible study on the book of Matthew. This year is a cool new thing. The children as well as an adult class will be doing the exact same passage as us each week -- so the whole fam can be going through the same thing at the same time. Pretty fancy. This year we have 8 different groups: 6th grade Gals 7-8th Gals 9th Gals 11-12th Gals 6th Guys 7-8th Guys 9-10th Guys 11-12 Guys Events We have several events this Spring and Beyond: A High School Retreat March 26-28 to Camp TVR (info/signups when it gets closer).
