The decision as reported in the Presbytery minutes:

Report of the Worship Study Committee. TE Dave Desforge read from Ephesians 4 and prayed. The committee’s report was distributed (Attachment F) and read. On separate motions the following recommendations were adopted:

A) That the Presbytery adopt the position that those missions, which are daughter churches of particular Sessions are under the guidance and direction of the Session in its conduct of worship. Those missions directly under the Presbytery through the oversight of a commission or an evangelist are to follow a conservative approach to worship, which reflects the broader practices of the churches of the Presbytery.

B) That in the light of the various controversial issues found in Appendix A, Presbytery directs all Sessions of the Presbytery to determine that their worship practices are in conformity with our Standards.

On motion and without objection the committee was dismissed with deep thanks. TE Sandy Curnow gave thanks in prayer for the work of the committee.
