Outreach magazine, a national publication, features Grace in its July/August issue. A 4-page photo essay leads off a special section of the magazine focused on creative use of the arts for outreach. Editor James Long introduces the article in his letter from the editor, "In the section, 'Outreach and the Arts,' we profile three creative initiatives. The photo essay ... takes us to Grace Community Church [near] Asheville, N.C., where teams of writers, photographers and videographers document mission ministries and the church gathers the community through theater, music and the visual arts."

In his interaction with writer Rob Wilkins, who also serves as Communications Director at Grace, Long said featuring Grace intrigued him for several reasons: "Grace’s strategy of arts seems very integrated and well thought out. The church is committed to doing art on multiple fronts that springs from a central arts philosophy."

The magazine also features several other churches who are on the cutting edge of using arts as a unique way to reach out and serve those in the community and world.

If you would like to order an issue of the magazine, please send an
email stating how many issue(s) you would like. We hope to be able to buy in bulk, so we can lower the price. Cost will be between $3.95 to $6.95 per issue depending how many orders we receive. We will email you back when the magazines are available for pickup at the Information Center. A limited number of magazines can now be purchased at the Information Center. It's a great way to introduce Grace to others.

You can also order and find out more information by visiting the magazine's website, outreachmagazine.com.
